Liat is passionate about art that feels honest and complex, and values the collaborative artistic process that is so unique to the performing arts. For the past three years, she has been a member of the resident acting company at Mercury Store, where she has regularly participated in workshops led by some of the most innovative and dynamic theater artists in the city. These include Daniel Aukin, Nazareth Hassan, Annie Baker, Evan Cabnet, Meghan Finn, Pink Fang, Will Davis, and many others.
Liat has performed at the PIT, The Tank, Columbia MFA, Jalopy Theatre, and Williamstown Theatre Festival. She holds an MFA in Acting from the University of Iowa, and a BA in Theatre Arts and Culture Studies and Communication from Clark University. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband, cat, and dog.
