Liat is an actor, writer, and dessert-enthusiast currently living in Iowa City, IA, where she is pursuing an MFA in acting at the University of Iowa under the guidance of Paul Kalina, John Cameron, and Mary Coy. Originally from Israel, Liat has spent the past five years in the United States. She earned her mostly American accent from watching a lot (!) of American TV as a kid. Years later, she earned her BA from Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts, where she studied Theatre and Culture Studies and Communication (film gender theory? pop culture theory? yes please).
Liat is interested in art that feels relevant, fresh, fearless, and vulnerable. She LOVES a collaborative room with a fun and playful attitude. When she is not rehearsing or reading plays, she is probably researching space or watching Fleabag.
In the United States, Liat has performed at The PIT and The Producer's Club in New York City, Improv Boston, as well as at the Williamstown Theatre Festival. In Tel Aviv, Liat performed at Suzanne Dellal.
