Liat is an actor currently living in Iowa City, IA, where she is pursuing an MFA in acting at the University of Iowa under the guidance of Paul Kalina, John Cameron, and Mary Mayo. Originally from Israel, Liat has spent the past six years in the United States. Growing up, she taught herself English and how to speak with an American accent by watching American television. She received a BA from Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts, where she studied Theatre and Culture Studies and Communication.
Liat is interested in art that feels relevant, fresh, fearless, and vulnerable, and values the collaborative artistic process. When she is not rehearsing or reading plays, she is probably researching space or playing with her dog, Gemma!
In the United States, Liat has performed at The PIT and The Producer's Club in New York City, Improv Boston, as well as at the Williamstown Theatre Festival. In Tel Aviv, Liat performed at Suzanne Dellal.
